Expensive but you don’t have a choice,
Good quality item. It’s pricey, but if you went for a Chaperone carseat that’s your only option if you need a second base. It is original and fits perfect.

|Great Base & Car Seat – But LARGE!,
The britax system is great and we researched high and low for ultimate safety. We have a Mazda CX-7 so not an SUV, but not a compact car. The base is very, very large. So large that we needed to put it in the middle seat because otherwise we would have had to move the driver/passenger seat up too far to be safe. This was okay for us as that is now reported as the safest place for a child due to side impact collisions. It does pose a little bit of an inconvenience getting baby in and out. It wasn’t that big of a deal for me, but it might be for some.
Overall, this is a great base and car seat and will keep our baby safe. A little bit of an inconvenience due to size is well worth the benefits it provides.

|Safety First,
My husband and I struggled getting the bases into our Jeeps, but it was worth the effort. Britax is known for safety, and it was worth the extra hour if it keeps our baby safe!
